The Automatic Control Elements and Systems Lab is meant for the fourth year students of Automatics and Metrology specialization on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics. During the classes the graduates are introduced to the intricacies of constructing, modeling, measuring and controlling fluid power systems with proportional performance.

In the lab the students have the possibility to:

• Examine the properties of electro-pneumatic proportional valves and servo distributors on the basis of their static and dynamic characteristics measurement,
• Calculate the resistance of motion in electro-hydraulic or electro-pneumatic servo-actuators,
• Study the construction details and the methods of controlling pneumatic and electro-pneumatic positioners.
