The Control Theory Fundamentals class are taught by the Department of Process Control staff to the second year students of Mechanical Engineering and of Automatics and Robotics (summer term) and to the third year students of the Interfaculty School of Energy (winter term).
Number of hours: 60 (lectures – 15, class – 15, laboratory – 15)
The main purpose of the subject is to present the fundamentals of the control theory, the mathematical description methods, transient and frequency response, the methods of stability testing, and applied control systems and controllers.
Conditions for receiving a credit: written exam, tests, blackboard exercises, laboratory exercises.
